An Ethic For Christians & Other Aliens in a Strange Land

"In the face of death, live humanly.
In the middle of chaos, celebrate the Word.
Amidst babel, speak truth.
Confront the noise and verbiage and falsehood of death with the
truth and potency and efficacy of the Word of God.
Know the Word, teach the Word,
nurture the Word, defend the Word,
preach the Word, incarnate the Word,
do the Word, live the Word."

I think about the occasional news story I hear of about the overflow of public waste dumps. How that if we continue to produce waste at the current rate that we will no longer have room to put it in the year......2100. I cant help but see how we consume christianity in the same manner. No wonder people have turned to other religions and even create their own. Ultimately making America a trash dump of more than one kind. (I am not bashing America here. Please understand that. It is my home and I love it) Is it possible to correct this history of abuse? Well specialists would say that it will take thousands of years for the earth to heal from these wounds. I hope you see my point.
